I have a wide range of media production and design skills. My primary skills are in multimedia and web development, specialising in business web applications. Video production for new media like phones, web, DVD and vodcasting is also a particular area of interest for me.

Until recently, I was a lecturer at Edith Cowan University, teaching video production and interactive multimedia in the School of Communications and Contemporary Arts. I have also taught at Curtin University in the School of Design, and at West Coast College of TAFE.

Before moving into teaching, I worked as a senior multimedia developer for several Western Australian multimedia companies. My last full-time position was Production Manager for Interactive Business Presentations (IBP). However I have continued to undertake freelance work even while teaching full-time because I believe it is important to maintain current industry skills in a field as dynamic as web and media development.

I am proud to be a member of Port80, the Australian web industry association, and an avid supporter of the Web Standards Group. I am on the organising committee for the 2006 WA Web Awards.
